The Room

A small room in Mumbai where taste argues with deadlines and usually wins.

We’re four storytellers who got tired of watching good scripts die in budget meetings. So we built a studio where the most expensive part of filmmaking — the manufacturing — became the cheapest. That’s the whole trick: AI-native plumbing, human-native judgment. What’s left is the part we were always best at.

rule /04: version 3 is framed
in the loo. humbling.
/01

Story first. If the script doesn’t work, the render is just an expensive way to be boring.

/02

Humans decide everything that matters: the idea, the words, the cut, the feeling. (machines do everything that doesn’t.)

/03

Every frame passes a director’s eye before it passes to yours. No exceptions, no “good enough.”

/04

We show our drafts. Confidence is letting you see version 3 next to version 11.

/05

If we wouldn’t put it on our own slate, we won’t put it on your brand.

The four chairs

Four storytellers. One studio.

names withheld until the trademark clears. the chai order is: cutting, kadak,
adrak, sulemani.
Chair one

The Director

Owns the story, the look, and the final no. Has killed more drafts than the rest of the room combined and is at peace with it. Reads scripts at weddings.

“make it feel like something.”
Chair two

The Machinist

Speaks fluent machine so nobody else has to. Builds the pipelines, breaks the models, knows which tool is lying. The reason “impossible” takes two days.

“give me till tonight.”
Chair three

The Showrunner

Owns the Originals — the slate, the channels, the worlds we keep. Reads retention graphs the way old producers read box office. Currently running four shows and denying an alleged fifth.

“the slate is the studio.”
Chair four

The Closer

Turns briefs into budgets and handshakes into invoices. Protects the writers from meetings and the clients from surprises. Replies within one business day, usually faster.

“send the brief. we’ll see.”
Chair five · bolted to the floor

The Machines

A multi-model render pipeline that works nights, weekends and festivals. Produces anything the room can describe, in any language, by morning. Has never once had an opinion — which is exactly why it doesn’t get a vote.

“rendering…” (it has never said anything else. we like that about it.)
